Samsung released the One UI 4.1 software as part of the launch to Samsung’s Galaxy S22 series back in February. For the last three months it has been making the update available to other phones. Today, we discovered that the Korean company has announced a new incremental update, which will be released in the form of one UI 4.1.1. We’ll hear more about it later in the year with the launch of the foldables of 2022.
The name was confirmed by a Samsung support agent, who clarified issues with Wonderland are deep within the platform and will get a complete code correction once One UI 4.1.1 arrives.
The switch to 4.1 to 4.1.1 isn’t a shock as Samsung made the same change when it launched One UI 3.1 which was followed by the One UI 3.1.1. According to rumors, that the next major software update that is that is based on Android 13 will be dubbed One UI 5, with the first beta believed to be due in July, after Google is able to launch its brand new OS.
