Samsung Galaxy S22 & S22 Plus Quick Overview – Launched Now

Samsung Galaxy S22 and the Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+ are official , along with the Galaxy S22 Ultra and, like before, they are missing a few Ultra’s specifications however, unlike the Ultra, they have the same high-end build quality.

The two sub-flagships are even larger than the predecessors. This is crucially important for the standard Galaxy S22 as it’s bound to draw those who value powerful flagship performance in small shells.

The Galaxy S22 and S22+ come with the same options for chipsets. According to the market the phone will either come with 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or an 4nm Exynos 2200. Both feature an octa core processor, which has one Cortex-X2 Core, three Cortex A710 centers, as well as four Cortex A510 cores. The S22 as well as S22+ are available in 8/128GB and 8/256GB versions.

The cameras are shared by two cameras in the Galaxy S22 pair. The most popular includes the 50 megapixel Samsung GN5 with a 1/1.57″ imager, with 1.0um pixels. This is a binned version that translates to an 12.5MP final image that has 2.0um pixels.

There’s also a 12-megapixel 13mm ultrawide camera, which is positioned in front of the 1/2.55″ 1.4um sensor that does not have autofocus (sigh). There’s also a 3x zoom camera that has the 10MP sensor, but and not the digital-zoom 64MP that was the model before it. To take selfies, this two S22’s have a fixed-focus 10MP camera.

Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+ are official - same formula, but better

It’s the Samsung Galaxy S22 comes with an 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X which is more bright and smarter by it’s refresh rates. It has the capacity to reach a peak brightness of 1300 nits. It can change its refresh rate to 10-120Hz (the S21 did 48Hz-120Hz).

Dropping 0.1″ when compared to the display of the galaxy S21 allows Samsung’s Galaxy S22 to shave 5mm of length, 0.6mm width and 0.3mm thickness, yet it weighs around the same.

In terms of battery capacity, it’s battery-wise, but the Galaxy S22 has a smaller 3,700mAh battery, as when compared to the predecessor’s 4,016mAh. It’s charged at the same rate of 25W.
