Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 to use Gorilla Glass Victus+ & Snapdragon 8+ Gen1

According to leakster Ahmed Qwaider, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 will get the tougher Gorilla Glass Victus+ to protect the rear panel and cover display. The Z Fold 3 used the original Victus. We had previously heard rumors about a Super UTG material for the larger inner display. The new hinge design will decrease the crease.

Qwaider also provided more information. Samsung will adjust the charging curve to increase speed. The battery of the 2021 foldable was only 33% after half an hour of charging. According to the Z Fold4, it will reach 50% within half an hour.

Major improvements will be made to the camera department by the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4. Rumours suggest that the main camera will be increased to 50MP from 12MP and that the telephoto module (up from 2x) will receive a 3x lens. The cover display’s 16MP camera and the 4MP under-display camera won’t be upgraded.

The Z Fold4 will feature thinner bezels for the cover display, and a smaller aspect ratio. The Snapdragon 8+ Generation 1 will power the phone (as will Z Flip4). The same price that its predecessor will be launched is expected for the Fold. The official announcement will be made next Wednesday .
