Recently, rumors about Vivo’s newest entry-level handset, the Y02s began to surface. The reliable tipter Sudhanshu Ambhore has shared a tweet revealing the Vivo complete specification sheet and renders. Here is the specification breakdown for the smartphone.
The Vivo Y01’s sibling is quite beautiful for its price. The rear shell is made of matte polycarbonate and features a shiny camera island. The Y02s weighs only 183g and measures 163.95×75.55x 8.19mm. The dual ring modules are not deceiving. There is only one 8MP f/2.0 primary lens, while the second can hold an LED flash.
According to the FCC listing the Vivo V2203’s upcoming model will be called Vivo Y02s. According to the listing, the smartphone will offer GPRS and EGPRS as well as VoLTE and WCDMA networks. Bluetooth and dual-band WiFi (2.4GHz + 5.GHz) will be available on the device. The device will also support dual SIMs.
A 6.51’’ 720p IPS LCD panel on the front acts as the display with a dew-drop notch up top. The Y02s houses a 5MP f/2.2 camera for selfies and video conferencing and also comes with AI beautification enhancements. Thick bezels and a wide chin surround the screen.
The new Vivo budget smartphone Y02s uses an old MediaTek Helio P35 chipet, paired with 3GB RAM (and 32GB of internal storage). It runs Android 12 with FunTouch OS 12 as the top. The Y02s are powered by a 5,000 mAh battery. It can be charged with the included charger at 10W.
The handset also supports Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band WiFi, GPS, FM Radio, an audio jack, a Type-C port for connectivity, and full dual SIM support with a dedicated MicroSD slot. The pricing is still unconfirmed; however, the Vivo Y02s could arrive at around $113 or PKR 26,000. It will be available in Flourite Black and Vibrant Blue paint jobs.
